    There are many traditional pore water pressure equations which are difficult to reflect the structure and mechanical behavior of soil. The Unified Strength Theory is used to establish pore water pressure equation and traditional pore water pressure equations are unified. And the different effects of the shear stress are taken into account. The pore water pressure increases with the increasing intermediate principal stress coefficient b value when the intermediate principal stress increment is small, while the pore water pressure varies hardly with the increasing b value when the intermediate principal stress increment is larger. It is shown from the example that the calculation result is close to the engineering practice if the intermediate principal stress is considered. So the accurately calculate method of pore water pressure is obtained.

    Spectral Decomposition Technique is a processing and interpreting method in frequency domain. Its main theory is based on thin-layer tuning theory. It obtains great success in the study of thin layer in sedimentary rock. In the basis of the analysis for the basic principles of the technology, in connection with the special natureof the carbonate reservoir, this paper expands the analysis and application of spectral decomposition technology, introduces the prediction researches in carbonate reservoir with detailed examples, and demonstrates the notable results of the spectral decomposition technology in the prediction of void and cavernous reservoirs.

  • Research on the Three-dimensional Terrain Building

    The high resolution unmanned aerial vehicle images can provide more shape, texture and surface information compare to the satellite images, and it has a unique advantage on three-dimensional terrain reconstruction. Many regions in western China are highlands, most of the terrain is mountain, because of the harsh natural environment, it is difficult to obtain topographic map by conventional mapping methods. How to adopt new technologies to improve the efficiency of obtain terrain data for three-dimensional terrain modeling has become a major problem. This paper presents a method of automatic matching discrete points to build and optimize triangulation irregular net, and modified by a small amount of human-computer interaction to generate digital elevation mode, and Three-dimensional model was completed. The research results show that this method can improve efficiently. The construction of three-dimensional terrain has a few differences with the real terrain, and the results were satisfied.

    One experimental area in Daqing city of Heilongjiang province was took as an example to perform the quantitative inversion of soil salinity using Hyperion data in this paper. The inversion method of soil salinity using Hyperion data is discussed by the image preprocessing, the feature extraction and the establishment of BP neural network model. It gives a lot of help in soil survey system and promotes the development in quantitative retrieval of soil salinity. Meanwhile, this model provides reference for solving other non-linear problems. If we have profit train data, this model can do the retrieval of other parameter.

    The mathematical model on water-oil two-phase transit flow has been established in this paper. The solving proceeds with finite element method are presented in details and the source-sink ideology has been taken into consideration when dealing with the inner boundary conditions, that is, the production or injection of wells is regarded as the continuous function in the element that wells belong to, and can be expressed in the form of interpolation fundamental function. Therefore, the term of boundary condition treatment has been the product of element area and flow rate. The adaptation not only simplifies the procedure dealing with inner boundary condition dramatically, but also solves the problem that saturation field cannot propagate. Compared with the results obtained from finite difference method, which is verified to be sufficiently convenient and correct, has laid the foundation of multiphase flow theory.

    Taking the GIS developed by a gas company in Chengdu as an example, functions and applications of the GIS of city gas pipeline network are discussed. The unified GIS development platform is used to design and realize the synthesis of GIS based on B/S structure and mobile GIS. The sharing of resources is realized by means of the distributed data storage method. Functions of decision-making of rush repair, statistical analysis, decisions of patrol scheme of the gas pipeline are implemented. With the construction and application of the GIS, the different applications of the gas enterprise are satisfied, the informationization level is improved, and the efficient operation and management of gas enterprise are promoted. The safety risk is also reduced; thereby, the emergency decision level of city public security is enhanced.

    According to the unstable flow characteristics of multilateral horizontal well, by using the multidimensional instantaneous source function and Newman multiplication principle, the bottom hole pressure expression considering the effect of wellbore storage and skin in Laplace space is obtained, and the productivity of multilateral horizontal well in different times resulting from the application of numerical inversion of Stehfest transform and dimensionless definition. After simulating calculation with unstable flow models, the results indicated that raising lateral wellbore number means increasing productivity of multilateral horizontal well in a certain extent and decreasing productivity of each lateral wellbore. Based on an overall consideration of various factors, the lateral number is not merrier and there is an optimum lateral wellbore number suitable for both the engineering requirements and gas productivity demands.

Potato late blight is the biggest thread in potato production, according to the rule of occurrence, popular and control of potato late blight, as well as the spatial characteristics when it occurred, visualization simulation method and technical ideas based on GIS was discussed in the process of potato late blight occurrence, and the influence of simulation results to control strategy was illustrated in the paper.

    Semi-structured spatio-Temporal data has become prevalent with growth of GIS. In this paper, we propose to use “Nested” natural of spatio-Temporal data to store and maintain it efficiently in an Object-Relational Database based on Nesting-Relation-Oriented data Model– one of N1NF database. This model not only reflects the nested structure of semi-structured spatio-Temporal data, but also distinguishes between entity object classes and Spatio- Temporal nested relationship classes, and between attributes of entity object classes and attributes of nested relationship classes using more data semantics. Our approach has a little redundancy in storage and more efficiency of update in manage.

    Gisway system integrates the functions of general GIS software and draws software so that it can perform well in emergent and effective mapping. The system has been used as a mapping platform to make emergent thematic maps for earthquake rescue efforts and other emergent assistance. In this paper, we discuss the characters of emergent mapping and the process of using Gisway platform to make seismic thematic maps for Yushu earthquake. In the end, the paper summarizes the application of Gisway system in quick and effective mapping, and some improvements are brought out.

    It is necessary for surveying and mapping departments to manage aerial surveying digital data. How to manage increasing data automatically has become an urgent problem to be settled. The framework designing of the aerial digital data management information system is deeply dissertated and discussed in this paper. The system is based on two-tier C/S structured model, using the Borland's Delphi development tool, Microsoft’s SQL Server 2000 ultra-large databases and SuperMap Objects graphical components is established using parts of present data collecting from the aerial photographic surveying department. Compared with traditional systems, this aerial digital data management system has a good nature; it realizes the automation management and operation easily.

  • A New Method to Determine the Injection Allocation

    The theory of non-Darcy flow is analyzed in low permeability reservoirs, and the reservoir average pressure equation is established, which considers the impact of threshold pressure gradient and injection-production ratio according to material balance equation and injection-production ratio equation. A new method is advanced to determine the injection-production ratio and injection allocation flux in water flooding reservoir. This method takes into account the impact of pressure gradient, while the amount injection allocation does not ensure oil well production, but also recover the formation of the average pressure. The computation process adopts the multilayer iteration method, considering the impact of the injection well and production well pressure in areal well pattern, the target liquid producing capacity, the average formation pressure and injection-production ratio. According to this method and combining with the real data of the Chinese Daqing oilfield S1 block, the water injection of single well is 8.26m3/d. The result is advisable and accurate, which provides theoretical guide for practical application.

    In order to quantitatively analyze the effects of distributed characteristic of coarse aggregate on mechanical performance of high modulus asphalt concrete, image analysis technology was used. Results showed that Marshall Stability was markedly changed in coarse aggregate angularity, but the resilience modulus was not obvious changed. Marshall Stability and resilience modulus were increased with PH value increasing, and were decreased with shape coefficient increasing, but the resilience modulus declined slightly when the shape coefficient exceeded a fixed value.
